Democrats ‘Negotiate’ to Destroy the US Economy

BOHICA? Not this time around!

We must DEMAND that the GOP fight back!

Destroying the US economy, and destroying the livelihood – and ruining the lives – of non-Muslims in America and elsewhere in the world economy, is part of the agenda of the long-standing tranzi-progressive/jihadi axis. It opens the way to foreign economic and political domination, and it hampers our ability to resist the worldwide jihad.

Let The Professionals Do It (To You, One More Time)

The Heritage Foundation has a few things to say about our mind-bending tax burden: [Emphases throughout this post are mine — D]

While Democrats want tax increases on the table in debt negotiations, Republicans have reiterated their “no tax-hike” stance — a position they reiterated following… [the latest] unemployment report that revealed only a measly 18,000 jobs were created last month.

In reality, 18K jobs in an economy the size of America’s is so horrifically minuscule that if President Obama truly understood the ramifications of these numbers, he’d crawl under his desk until someone came to take him away. 18,000 jobs = EPIC FAIL by even a statist’s definition.

As the Baron said over coffee, the mistake the Republicans made this past week was in even considering “negotiating” with the Dems. Democrats don’t “do” good-faith negotiation; that attitude is a top-down problem, starting in the Oval Office and sifting finally onto the heads of us regular folks. Obama thinks we shouldn’t be worrying about things like the debt. In the short video below the fold, O tells us to go out and live our ordinary lives and let the professionals take care of the Debt. In other words, please don’t notice that he has no idea how to fix this mess. But he doesn’t need to know; he’s the One We Were waiting For. He’s Godot.

HF continues:

If that [the 18K jobs increase] isn’t enough reason to keep Democrats from proposing tax increases, perhaps the ambiguity of our nation’s economic future is.Americans are set to face the highest tax burden in history. Families will be hit by unprecedented taxation levels by 2020 without the extension of current tax rates. This means more economic stagnation and less prosperity.

What part of Obama’s “I won” rulebook do Republicans not understand? Present-day Dems do not negotiate, they strong arm, smear and threaten. (Think of the nomenklatura minus assassinations.)

HF presents the evidence from the American Legislative Exchange Council, though the average American hardly needs persuading:
The Tax Burden
[Blogger image sizes are limited. To see a larger version of the chart go here].

In that same post, the Heritage Foundation gives the credit to ALEC:

The American Legislative Exchange Council has found that higher taxes, new spending, and more debt will deepen the financial crisis. If tax hikes are included in any sort of deal, it is only a matter of time before workers, employers and the entire nation are burdened by more than they can handle.

The Debt isn’t rocket science, but our president says Americans shouldn’t worry their cute li’l heads about it. This subject is for professional politicians only:

Obama: ‘Professional Politicians’ Understand Debt Crisis Better Than ‘The Public’

Hubris much?

[Thanks to CNS for the video]

The man’s evasions, condescension (not to mention his high-fivin’shuckin’ and jivin’) continue to astound. In reality, he’s clueless about how the free-market system operates. Or rather, what of it he understands, he dislikes. He didn’t make his millions by starting up a business and hiring people. Instead, he learned early on to milk the Government Goat and he thinks y’all should do the same.

The lawyer/blogger at Legal Insurrection perfectly posed our Feckless Fearless Leader in his own self-created dilemma. Hard to feel sorry for a man who “done it to his ownself” as they say around here:

The only way for Obama to stimulate the enormous private sector job growth needed to ensure Obama’s reelection is for Obama to announce he is not running for reelection, which would unleash a wave of investment and economic activity not seen since the Great Depression.

This ginormous problem is “Obama’s Catch 2012” and it should catch on… so to speak. If the Republicans don’t send that one viral, then they’re even more clueless than we’ve been led to believe by watching their naïve behavior in trying to negotiate with Democrats. They’ve now set themselves up by the mere act of sitting down with the Treachery Team: now if they refuse to raise taxes the Dems will say Republicans don’t care about The Debt. However, if they agree to the Dems’ terms for upping the tax rate, their voters back home will can ’em.

Will someone please tell the Republicans they won? According to our President, victory means you never have to consult with the losing side. In the other ear, mention the sad fact that the Losers are determined to take us all down with them.

On Line Identities, The World Of The Left.

One of the reasons I say very little about who I am and what my experiences are is that in the online world, it matters not. That is to say, I can be anyone I want from behind this computer screen. That is true for all of us here in the virtual world. There are two paths we can all take with this set of facts. In my humble opinion, those of us who are more conservative choose to eschew our supposed identities and will try to form arguments which will stand up, even if offered anonymously. Also, in my humble opinion, those on the left will claim some mantle of credibility based on assuming the identity of an unimpeachable expert.

How many times have we busted some phony claiming to be a soldier or a former soldier who decided that it would bolster their arguments against the war in Iraq, war in Afghanistan, War on Terror, or even military spending? How many times have we busted wide open the claims of business ownership by people on the left who were in fact union thugs arguing for increased regulation and or the asinine health care monstrosity? How many degrees in Chemistry or Physics have been conferred by unknowing universities and colleges upon those arguing vehemently that man kind is responsible for a quick future destruction of the planet? This list could go on for several pages, and would be fun to compose, but something happened last week that tops it all.

The two most popular web sites and forums for Lesbians were outed as having been run by middle aged white men, both of whom were perpetually stuck in their adolescent stages of development and existing on the public dole as college students. Without referring to the sites, as I’m sure you’ve all heard of it by now, I would encourage you to get your giggles out of the way. There is something going on beyond the problems of two assholes who were so irrelevant in their real lives that they were reduced to finding validation in the virtual world by pretending not only to be women, but women with gender confusion. (O.K., another cheap laugh here. If you call a man who dresses in women’s clothing a transvestite, what do we call these two?) One of these, “lesbians,” made it a point to use his status of expert as a member of a victim class in this world to point out that America was by far the least tolerant society in the world. He claimed that Syria, a place where lesbians and gay men are immediately executed when found out, was far more tolerant a place than our country. ( I know of at least two major U.S. corporations which force diversity training upon its employees in the case that anyone is caught joking about homosexuality within earshot of another person.)

The remainder of what is going on is a complete lack of supporting facts necessary to back the liberal agenda. One of the many signs that we on the right are in fact winning this debate is that the liberals must continually resort to spin, deflection, projection, astroturfing, and tactics like this in order to state their position. This, reduced to its simplest form, besides being hilariously pathetic, is just another way to restate those famous and untrue words uttered by Al Gore, “the debate is now over.” We have seen this before, and mark my words, we will again. The mantle of expertise is designed for no other purpose than to make a jaw droppingly weak position unassailable. Whenever debating with liberals in the future, we should all remember to start our side of the debate by challenging the premise of every statement. Be wary of those that begin with a position of some sort of expertise. (An example would be, “I am a lesbian who lived both in the U.S. and Syria and I have found the Sharia compliant world of Syria to be much more liberating than the supposedly open society of America.) We will be inundated over the next two years with people claiming to have gotten great health care in Canada, England, or even in Cuba or Mexico. They will probably be lying about it. We will be inundated by people claiming to be soldiers or former soldiers telling stories of American transgressions abroad. They will probably be lying about it. We will be inundated with Marxists claiming to be business owners who will state that the bevy of new regulation of the Obama Administration has been a boon to their non existent businesses, and that the new green economy is allowing them to expand beyond what they ever thought possible. They will probably be lying about it. We will be inundated with people pretending to be doctors who will tell tales of how the Obamacare monstrosity has allowed them to care for patients in a more streamlined and compassionate manner than they ever have before. They will probably be lying about that as well.

All in all, the pretending to be a lesbian thing is my favorite liberal ruse to date. This one will be tough to top. I would be happier if they just gave up trying. I won’t be holding my breath though.

No Idiots, We Are Broke!

I have often been amazed at the argumentation that I hear from the political left.  How could some of these things be said with a straight face.  Most especially when those statements are so easily refuted, with but a moments thought.  Let’s shag a few pop fly balls for practice.

The C.W. Mills Power Elite Theory, which states that our national leaders will come exclusively from the 11,000 wealthiest of Americans.  That the average person born in America really does not have the ability to rise from whatever social strata they were born into and achieve political fortune.  The refutation of course would be Presidents Ford, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, Johnson, Truman, Lincoln, and probably a few more.  That was an easy warm up.

How about another easy one?  Chicken Hawk is a term we’ve all heard over the years.  Actually, I first read this refutation in an article pointed out to my on Pajamas Media.  The easy out is that it is nothing more than an adhominem attack.  That means, for those liberals reading this, the argument itself has not been refuted in any meaningful way, it is simply meant to end debate by insulting the person on the other side of the debate.  In this context that debate would be the use of military force.  Since this is still practice, and we actually need to get our swings in, we’ll refute the chicken hawk charge further.  The person using this as a debate tactic is in fact stating that only people who have served in the military should be allowed to have a vote on when the military should be used.  Carrying that to its logical conclusion then, should only police or former police be allowed to have a say so on political decisions on how the law enforcement working for any municipality are to conduct themselves?  How about other professions?  Should all tax laws be written and decided upon by CPA’s only.  The latest Financial Industry Reform Law which Obama is touting, was that written and voted upon by only people with the proper securities credentials?  To take this argument even further to where it inevitably leads, how do we all think it is going to be regarded by the people who employ it in the first place?  The Constitution, very smartly I believe, establishes civilian control of the military.  In other words, the armed forces answer to the elected executives of the nation.  The chicken hawk argument destroys that.  By stating that only those in the military should be included in the use of military debate, civilian control is removed.  I seriously doubt that the very people who so virulently hate the military would somehow welcome martial law.

Sufficiently warmed up, let’s debate a meatier issue.  Soaking the, “rich,” will solve our national economic problems.  This is predicated on the mistaken belief that our economic system, and in fact our entire society is zero sum.  When we were all in kindergarten, we knew that if Jane and Bill had the ball to play with, Tony and Betty did not get to play.  That is of course, until Betty’s mom bought Betty a ball of her own, thus introducing a second game into the kindergarten society.  Betty, by asking her mom for a ball, showed an industrious initiative and created the wealth of a second ball.  For those who missed the metaphor of kindergarten economics, I’ll explain.  Our society works the same way.  Wealth is not zero sum.  The so called rich are not rich because they stole money and goods from everyone else.  They are rich because for the most part, they created something which other members of society found a value in.  Bill Gates did not become wealthy by sneaking into every home in America and stealing $60 and leaving a copy of his operating system on the night stand as a calling card.  His operating system enabled every person in the United States to enjoy benefits of owning their own computer and made the experience easy to utilize, so much so that people who were fine without a computer at home now go ballistic if theirs stops working.  People were willing to fork over $60 to Mr. Gates really without much thought.  They in turn used this to build their own businesses in many cases, to save themselves time and money, (wealth in other words,) and to use it as an inexpensive form of entertainment.  Mr. Gates provided a value to millions of people around the world.  He created wealth.  Now that it has been deemed useful to most everyone in society, many people are arguing in favor adding it to the public largess as a newly formed basic Constitutional Right.  Bill Gates is being vilified for his success by people on the left as a monster for stealing the wealth of the average American.

Many times a week, I will accidentally hear a spinmeister on the Telly say that our current economic crisis was caused by reckless tax cuts for the, “rich.”  This is pure stupidity for a few reasons.  One, tax cuts are not something which need to be paid for.  The rich became rich by providing value which benefits other members of society.  Tax cuts are merely a cessation of the government’s confiscation of the created wealth.  When the Bush Tax Reforms took place, the percentage of taxes contributed by the top wage earners in this country actually increased.  Not only that, but the total revenues of the Federal Government also increased.  The reduction in overall rates actually produced a tax increase.  Why this fact is conveniently left out of the media narrative is easy to see.  The main stream media is biased in the most dishonest and evil way possible.  They have an agenda to see government grow.  What did cause the financial meltdown, that is an easy one.  It was something called the Community Reinvestment Act.  This was first signed into law by James Carter.  It was later strengthened by Bill Clinton.  It basically dictated that banks, would now be forced to loan money to people who were not credit worthy to avoid criminal prosecution for their executive officers.  It also enabled banks, and wall street firms the ability to devise schemes to keep banks afloat despite this insane business practice by creating exotic investment vehicles to hide the pea under the shell in the largest game of 3 card monty perpetrated on the American Public.  Eventually, as with every capital market bubble, it burst.  The same politicians who passed this madness into law, and then threatened those who resisted with prison and fines, raced for microphones to call the bankers and wall street execs. evil.  I still marvel at how people to this day are saying, “there’s plenty of blame to go around.”  No, there is not.  Democrat politicians are to blame, period, dot, end of story.

The latest bit of lunacy that I’ve heard is that America is not broke.  That we have plenty of cash, if only we would just go and take it away from those greedy bastard rich folk who have stolen whatever they have from society.  Bill Whittle provides a great visual of how stupid this is.  He credits Iowahawk for the legwork and research at the end of his video.  In a nutshell, if we take every bit of wealth away from every corporation and rich person in this country, we could operate at our current level of spending for a year.  Then what do we do?  After every bit of wealth has been taken and redistributed, we would still need $3.5 Trillion for the next year, and there would not be any jobs left for anybody, as we would have liquidated everything to pay for this year.  Enjoy the video.
