It has been a year since the senseless Islamic massacre in Mumbai, India and the horrible anti-semitic massacre against those in the Chabad House.  From the Chabad website commemorating this tragedy:

In the course of their short lives, Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg, Chabad emissaries in Mumbai, India, radiated love, kindness and inspiration to their surroundings.

With their cruel murder by forces of darkness, their light exploded into a million points of light that now illuminate across the globe.

Click their picture for a video regarding their lives, their kindness, and their mission.

Although the Holzberg’s murder is the most famous from that day, they unfortunately were not alone.  Also, needlessly murdered at the Chabad House where Bentzion Kruman (Rabbi), Yocheved Orpaz (Grandmother), Norma Shvartzblat Rabinovich, Rabbi Aryeh Leibish Teitelbaum (Father of 8).

Those who wish to deny the particularity of Islam to these types of horric events tend to pass blame on all religion.  Anyone being honest however knows the uncomfortable truth that this is not the case – all religions are not equal.  The following is one, of many similar  Jewish responses to the the murder of the Holtzergs.  There were no Jewish retribution killings of innocents, no riots, no Embassy attacks, no calls for international holy war…

This is an open thread…but one in their memory of the victims of Islamic terrorism in Mumbai, India one year ago, and the memory of the thousands of innocent people unecessarily murdered by Islamic Terrorism and hatred throughout the ages.

Trying Khalid Sheikh Mohammed In A Civilian Criminal Court Is Dangerous

Great post from a blog called chicagoboyz.net about the dangers of trying Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a civilian criminal court-

In my previous post, I listed some (but far from all) of the practical problems presented by trying in a civil criminal court an individual (1) who was captured overseas, (2) had evidence against him collected using covert means, with (3) no chain of evidence or custody, and (4) was harshly and physically interrogated with (5) all witnesses and methods being secret.

The greatest danger posed in the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM) isn’t that he will go free. The greatest danger is that he will be convicted and that during his appeals the courts will ratify all of the extraordinary measures used to capture and convict him. The great danger is that the courts will ratify the rough, inaccurate and ambiguous norms of martial law as applying to all civil criminal trials.

After a couple of decades of these court decisions reverberating throughout the legal system, we could end up living under de facto martial law.

Now, Obama wants to bring martial law into a civil court room in Manhattan. In order to let a civil conviction of KSM stand, the higher courts will have to overturn almost all the current constitutional protections of the accused.

Hassan’s Imam: “Nidal Hassan Is A Hero”

From this website, Hassan’s imam praises the Moslem coward. (Via Gateway Pundit)

Nidal Hassan is a hero. He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people. This is a contradiction that many Muslims brush aside and just pretend that it doesn’t exist. Any decent Muslim cannot live, understanding properly his duties towards his Creator and his fellow Muslims, and yet serve as a US soldier. The US is leading the war against terrorism which in reality is a war against Islam. Its army is directly invading two Muslim countries and indirectly occupying the rest through its stooges.

Only a shit-for-brains Moslem can see “heroism” when attacking unarmed infidels. If Allah is really as powerful as they claim, then why do these brave Moslems fight with people who can not fight back? It’s a rhetorical question.

If this POS Moslem (Hassan) was really “pious”, then why didnt he just move to a POS Moslem country, like Iraq, Afghanistan or any of the other POS Moslem countries?

And this “Moslems don’t kill Moslems is pure bullshit.” I have seen many a car swarms in both Iraq and Afghanistan that kill lots of Moslems. I sure hope they keep up the good work for Allah.

The ultimate slap to Islams face, the real hero is female (Kimberly Munley).

Fort Hood shooter was member of Homeland Security Panel advising Obama

Here’s something else that we’ll all bury our heads in the sand about, if we know what’s good for us.  Nidal Hasan was a member of an independent panel offering advice to President Obama on homeland security issues, (Hat Tip: Scott Madsen)

The gunman who killed 12 people today at Ft. Hood appears, based on current media reports, to be Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan who was listed as a participant in a Homeland Security Policy Institute’s presidential transition task force last year.

The task force was not officially affiliated with the White House. It was a project of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, an independent thinktank housed at George Washington University, aimed at drafting policy recommendations for the incoming Obama administration.

According to the task force’s May 2009 report [pdf], a “Nidal Hasan” from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine was a task force event participant. Other participants included Senate and House staffers, Department of Homeland Security officials, Defense Department officials, and reporters for Politico, the Washington Post, and the London Times….

I’m sure you feel safer already. I realise that this was an independent group that is not officially affiliated with the Obama adminstration, but all the same, you’d have thought that somebody would do a little checking into the background, opinions, and written works of the members of a board that will be presenting policy recommendations to the President of the United States, would you not? Like the fact that he expressed support for suicide bombers on publicly-accessible Islamist sites?

Or that he used a medical lecture to his colleagues as an opportunity to lecture on how the Qur’an calls for decapitation of non-believers.

Or how he was placed on probation one time for repeatedly trying to proselytise his patients and colleagues to Islam.

Or how he was on the record as stating that the war on terror was a war on Islam, and that radical Muslims in the Middle East had the “right” to stand up against aggressors (i.e. the US and her allies)?

He was moderate. He was sane. He wasn’t scary or radical. Until he ambushed 13 U.S. soldiers while shouting “Allah Akbar”.

But remember folks, aside from the “Allah Akbar” shouting and the support for suicide bombers and the apparent belief that the US was the enemy of his religion and his understanding that it’s perfectly OK to kill unbelievers because they are unbelievers, there’s no reason to rush to judgment on this matter.  I mean, who knows?  We might find out that He watched a lot of Glenn Beck and followed Sarah Palin tweets while surfing the Discovery Institute’s website, right?
