It’s only fitting really, that we honor the once-revered owner of Little Green Foot Massages for his one great achievement in life – creating a blog that brought together some of the best independent conservative minds in the country in one URL. Now, sadly, LGF has devolved into the internet version of the Code Pink – a select group of a dozen mentally deficient posters continually telling each other that their hateful messages and lunatic opinions are really and truly right. And at the head, we have the Pa Sheehan – spewing invective at anyone who disagrees with him, seeing political goblins that aren’t there and never were, and generally making a nuisance of himself when people just wish he’d take his accolytes to the “secret room” in his website and stop bothering the rest of us.

I mean, what the hell else can you say about a man who in the last year:

1. Stated that Obama didn’t “bow” to the Saudi King any more than Bush did, giving as proof the former practically at 90 degrees and the latter inclining his head forward to receive a medal. Right. The parallels are stunning. Of course, the fact that Obama was subsequently caught bowing to everyone else except the mannequins in Macy’s window derailed that argument.

2. Did not ban his particularly favorite hatchet twit KKKillgore Trout after he crept into the Hot Air blog in the dead of night, effectively took a crap on what at the time was still an LGF-friendly website, and trotted home to tell Daddy what he’d done and how excited he was that his verbal turds would be in full view until one of the mods was able to get online. Snowball effectively said that he didn’t “condone” his little problem child’s actions, but he apparently understood and that Droopeydrawers was just proving a point. Of course, that could NEVER happen on Snowball’s website, because after all, he has an army of minions living on government assistance scanning the site day and night lest someone leave the “evil,” aided, of course, by the Snowball Correlator Tool, which usually works…..except for the middle of the night on December 12th when what’s-her-name and three posts’ worth of “you’re an idiot” showed up.

3. Asked in ALL SERIOUSNESS if a flag at a TEA Party rally, known to be frequented by nothing but racists and homophobes (and NRA members who probably believe in G_d while they’re at it), wasn’t really some sort of flag with Nazi connotations – yeah he was pretty sure…Nazis. Later on that day he posted that he had “concluded” that it was the Tennessee state flag, as if that determination required some sort of incredible deductive reasoning on his part and that he had twisted himself into a mental pretzel coming up with the right answer. He then spent the next five days running from site to site all over the internet, decrying the fact that pretty much anyone with two synapses to rub together had poached his ludicrous thread, was featuring it prominently on their websites. There is a discussion pending of bringing a class action suit against Snowball for the amount of gut-busting surgical staples the resultant laughter generated.

4. Continually screamed “Get your own blog!” at those he hit with the Rainbow-Brite banning stick and then complained loudly and whined like Valerie Plame in the Washington Post when Rodan and Savage actually did. Well, fellas, it’s really all your own faults — you were supposed to get your own blog but it wasn’t supposed to be SUCCESSFUL!!

There are others, I’m sure. So welcome to the Charles Icarus Johnson 57th Birthday Bash! Literally.

DON’T FORGET – IT’S TACO TUESDAY!

Comments and respectful debate are both welcome and encouraged.

Comments are the sole opinion of the comment writer, just as each thread posted is the sole opinion or post idea of the administrator that posted it or of the readers that have written guest posts for the Blogmocracy.

Obscene, abusive, or annoying remarks may be deleted or moved to spam for admin review, but the fact that particular comments remain on the site in no way constitutes an endorsement of their content by any other commenter or the admins of this Blogmocracy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
