Progressives Compare Gov. Scott Walker to Hitler

Progressives, such as online cult leader and supposedly great political analyst, Charles “Icarus” Johnson, complained when some Tea Party activists had posters of Obama as Hitler. As we know, this was mainly the Larouchers, who are themselves a cult. Either way it was a small segment of the Tea Party movement that did this. Yet leftists, like a certain unemployed Californian, are silent as Progressive public sector workers in Wisconsin compare their governor to Hitler and Mussolini.

The Republican governor of Wisconsin Scott Walker is attempting to prevent the teachers unions from abusing their collective bargaining powers. The teachers pay nothing towards their health care and pensions. This has led to a state deficit and and long term debt. Walker’s budget wanted to restrict pay increases to cost of living and force the workers to pay towards their pensions and health coverage. This is something that private sector workers do and they make less money. Clearly something must be done as this is not fair to the taxpayers of Wisconsin.

MADISON, Wis. – Faced with a near-certain Republican victory that would end a half-century of collective bargaining for public workers, Wisconsin Democrats retaliated with the only weapon they had left: They fled.

Fourteen Democratic lawmakers disappeared from the Capitol on Thursday, just as the Senate was about to begin debating the measure aimed at easing the state’s budget crunch.

By refusing to show up for a vote, the group brought the debate to a swift halt and hoped to pressure Republicans to the negotiating table.

[…]

In addition to eliminating collective-bargaining rights, the legislation also would make public workers pay half the costs of their pensions and at least 12.6 percent of their health care coverage — increases Walker calls “modest” compared with those in the private sector.

The public sector unions have caused a fiscal crisis for the states. Public pay in many states is now more than private pay. This is an economic imbalance that is hurting this nation. Governor Scott Walker is tackling the problem head on to improve his state’s economic competitiveness, something Progressives don’t grasp nor care about.

As usual not only is the state union protesting, but they are receiving assistance from the regime of Community organizer in chief, Barack Hussein Obama. His Organizing for America group is sending advisers to assist the teacher’s union. Clearly this is outside interference in a local matter. This typical of what 3rd World regimes do and Obama is implementing this for America.

Here is video clip of some of the signs the Obama backed protesters were
carrying.

The failed California programmer praised these protests. Progressives like him are OK with Republicans being called Nazis or Fascists, but they get upset when they are compared to it. The real reason why Charles “Icarus” Johnson is OK with the Nazi comparisons is because he believes that Conservatives are Nazis. Chuck believes that these protesters really are fighting Nazis and that’s his reason for supporting them.

Progressives are hypocrites and Chuck the failed blogger turned online cult leader is just an example of this. Civility for thee, but not for me. This is why Conservatives must show the left no mercy. Politics is war through other means.

Monday Afternoon Afro Cuban Jazz Session

Before the Totalitarian Progressive regime of Fidel Castro came to flower, Cuba was on the map culturally. It’s music and food was known the world over and millions of Americans visited the island. The one brand of music that came from Cuba and was widely accepted globally was Afro Cuban Jazz music. This music fused traditional Afro-Caribbean music with African American style Jazz. It made for great rhythm and many of these songs still sound good today. One group that is popular even today is the Buena Vista Social Club.

They even did a tribute to Argentine Progressive killer Che Guevara

Amazing songs by real Jazz musicians!

This is an open thread.

It’s only fitting really, that we honor the once-revered owner of Little Green Foot Massages for his one great achievement in life – creating a blog that brought together some of the best independent conservative minds in the country in one URL. Now, sadly, LGF has devolved into the internet version of the Code Pink – a select group of a dozen mentally deficient posters continually telling each other that their hateful messages and lunatic opinions are really and truly right. And at the head, we have the Pa Sheehan – spewing invective at anyone who disagrees with him, seeing political goblins that aren’t there and never were, and generally making a nuisance of himself when people just wish he’d take his accolytes to the “secret room” in his website and stop bothering the rest of us.

I mean, what the hell else can you say about a man who in the last year:

1. Stated that Obama didn’t “bow” to the Saudi King any more than Bush did, giving as proof the former practically at 90 degrees and the latter inclining his head forward to receive a medal. Right. The parallels are stunning. Of course, the fact that Obama was subsequently caught bowing to everyone else except the mannequins in Macy’s window derailed that argument.

2. Did not ban his particularly favorite hatchet twit KKKillgore Trout after he crept into the Hot Air blog in the dead of night, effectively took a crap on what at the time was still an LGF-friendly website, and trotted home to tell Daddy what he’d done and how excited he was that his verbal turds would be in full view until one of the mods was able to get online. Snowball effectively said that he didn’t “condone” his little problem child’s actions, but he apparently understood and that Droopeydrawers was just proving a point. Of course, that could NEVER happen on Snowball’s website, because after all, he has an army of minions living on government assistance scanning the site day and night lest someone leave the “evil,” aided, of course, by the Snowball Correlator Tool, which usually works…..except for the middle of the night on December 12th when what’s-her-name and three posts’ worth of “you’re an idiot” showed up.

3. Asked in ALL SERIOUSNESS if a flag at a TEA Party rally, known to be frequented by nothing but racists and homophobes (and NRA members who probably believe in G_d while they’re at it), wasn’t really some sort of flag with Nazi connotations – yeah he was pretty sure…Nazis. Later on that day he posted that he had “concluded” that it was the Tennessee state flag, as if that determination required some sort of incredible deductive reasoning on his part and that he had twisted himself into a mental pretzel coming up with the right answer. He then spent the next five days running from site to site all over the internet, decrying the fact that pretty much anyone with two synapses to rub together had poached his ludicrous thread, was featuring it prominently on their websites. There is a discussion pending of bringing a class action suit against Snowball for the amount of gut-busting surgical staples the resultant laughter generated.

4. Continually screamed “Get your own blog!” at those he hit with the Rainbow-Brite banning stick and then complained loudly and whined like Valerie Plame in the Washington Post when Rodan and Savage actually did. Well, fellas, it’s really all your own faults — you were supposed to get your own blog but it wasn’t supposed to be SUCCESSFUL!!

There are others, I’m sure. So welcome to the Charles Icarus Johnson 57th Birthday Bash! Literally.

DON’T FORGET – IT’S TACO TUESDAY!

The Cowardly Jazz Guitarist

It is often said that when people are bullied as youths they become abusive as adults. This could be the case of a certain obscure mediocre 80’s jazz guitarist. This musician, as we all know, is a blog bully. If you disagree or beat one of his pets in a debate he bans you. He then outs your identity and libels you as a Racist/Nazi/White Supremacist. Clearly this washed up jazz artist has mental issues and today we may have found out why!

He admits he avoided defending himself. This is the mark of a coward and someone who runs when confronted. This explains his paranoia that people are out looking for him. I hate to break it to him, but who would waste their time with a has been jazz guitarist that most people have never even heard of.

He was a coward as a youth and he is coward now. This is why he bullies people on his blog. It’s to make up for being a cowardly youth. He should have stuck to playing Jazz Guitar.

Enjoy the Overnight Open and feel free to discuss anything.

Update: Is it possible the Jazz Artist is really Max Headroom? They are both relics of the 1980’s are a figures of ridicule! I will let you all be the judge.
