Facebook censors Navy SEALs to protect Obama on Benghazi-gate – then claims “accidental mistake”

According to gopusa.com:

After Breitbart and others called them out on it, Facebook now claims that censoring the Navy SEALs was an “accidental mistake.”

Oh, yeah, riiiiight…

Obama called the SEALs and THEY got bin Laden. When the SEALs called Obama, THEY GOT DENIED.

From Breitbart:

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.

The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.

I spoke with Larry Ward, president of Political Media, Inc — the media company that handles SOS postings and media production. Ward was the one who personally put the Navy SEAL meme up, and the one who received the warning from Facebook and an eventual 24 hour suspension from Facebook because Ward put the meme back up after Facebook told him to take it down.

Here’s what Ward told me:

We created and posted this meme on Saturday after news broke that Obama had known and denied SEALS the backup they requested.

Once the meme was up it garnered 30,000 shares, approx. 24,000 likes, and was read by hundreds of thousands of people — all within 24 hrs. On Sunday, I went into the SOS Facebook page to post something else and found a warning from Facebook that we had violated Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities with our meme. So I copied the warning, put it on the meme as as caption, and re-posted the meme to the Facebook page.

Along with the re-posted meme, Ward put a link to the Facebook “feedback comment” inbox so visitors to the SOS page could send a message to Facebook if they were as outraged over the meme being jerked down as he was.

SOS meme takedown message

Ward said Facebook pulled the re-posted meme down within 7 or 8 hours and suspended the SOS account for 24 hours.

In other words, Facebook put the Navy SEALS in timeout in order to shield Obama.

Father Of Slain SEAL To WH: “You Have The Blood Of An American Hero On Your Hands”

Published on Oct 31, 2012 by adalrich00

CHARLES WOODS, father of Tyrone Woods: I can’t imagine anyone with any heart that would watch a battle rage for seven hours knowing that heroes were there that were going to be slaughtered if you didn’t have help sent in. Because we know that C130s could have been sent there in less than an hour. Jets could have been scrambled in minutes from many different parts of the globe. The order was ‘don’t help them, let them die.’

You know, I’m sorry, the people in the military are honorable and when they make a vow, they’re honorable enough to live up to it. Part of that vow is to defend American lives on American soil, from all enemies, foreign and domestic. This compound was American soil by international law. I’m speaking as an attorney. By international law. A diplomatic compound is American soil, no matter where it’s located. So we had 30 American citizens on American soil. This is no different than if it happened in L.A., or any other city. It would not take seven hours, normally, to scramble the jets, to send the 130 if this was on American soil in California, New York, or any other place.

But to political would be dishonorable to my son’s life and death. However, I am here to honor my son. Part of the process of honoring, is to forgive. But part of the other process is truth and to make sure that justice is pursued. I hope that it is because justice has to be paid.

###

WOODS: I don’t want to point any fingers, but obviously people in the White House were watching this happen. Real time. They — someone in the White House, or many people in the White House watched the events unfolding and knew that if they gave the order to stand down, that my son would die. They watched my son die. As far as I’m concerned, there are people in the White House — whoever it was that was in that room watching that video of my son dying, their cries for help, their order ‘don’t help them at all, let them die’ — whoever it might be, might be numerous people, you have the blood of my son, you have the blood of an American hero on your hands. I don’t know who you are, but one of these days the truth will come out. I still forgive you, but you need to stand up.

When They Called: President Obama failed on Benghazi

Published on Oct 29, 2012 by WomenUnitedPac

Women United PAC (www.womenunitedpac.com): “It is in times of crisis, usually after lives have been lost, when the paramount importance of national security is brought home to the American people. We know — as the mothers, wives, sisters and daughters of the men and women who volunteer to serve in harm’s way — that their security and the security of our country depends on clear-eyed, unfaltering leadership. Today, we release “When They Called,” as a demand for President Obama to come clean with the American people, and as a call for Americans to rise up and elect a new commander in chief.”

Wondering where this anti-Obama Benghazi meme originated?

“Cancel your Facebook account and short their stock!”

Well, not exactly. Shorting any stock is a dangerous gamble because there is no way to quantify the downside risk. Be advised that neither CzechRebel nor 1389 are giving any investment advice. We are merely bloggers who are old enough to remember the dot-com bubble and were wise enough to stay out of it. That said, it’s only common sense to take a dim view of the long-term viability of any media company that attempts to use its market position to push a left-wing agenda.

Herald Sun: Fears for riots in national burqa protest

UPDATE 11.16am: A NATIONAL day of protest demanding the burqa be banned has raised fears it could provoke Cronulla riot-style hysteria.

Almost 14,000 people have signed up for Monday’s “Ban the Burqa Day”, which urges protesters to wear a balaclava or mask.

But Islamic leaders labelled the event racist.

Organiser Kye Keating, 20, instigated the protest with two friends via Facebook after Sydney woman Carnita Matthews used her burqa to quash a jail sentence for deliberately making a false statement to police.

“This event is not aimed at race, it is not aimed at religion,” Mr Keating said.

“It is just aimed at concealing your identity in a public place. If everyone is not allowed to do it, no one should be allowed to do it.”

Decani Monastery Relief Fund Charitable Activities

Information about the charitable activities of the Decani Monastery Relief Fund is available on their Facebook Info page:

The Decani Monastery Relief Fund (DMRF) is a completely non-profit organization. Information regarding the Fund’s financial operations may be viewed by going to the following web site: http://www.serfes.org/missionary/charter.htm

All donations made to the DMRF are forwarded as quickly as possible to volunteers in Serbia who immediately use this cash resource to distribute financial and/or material aid to persons in need of assistance. No portion of any donation is used for administrative or overhead costs– 100% of every donation is dispersed to aid recipients. Volunteers in both Serbia and in the USA donate their own funds, as well as their time, to assure that your donations in their entirety are used to address the needs the DMRF exists to alleviate.

The DMRF desires to alleviate those who are constantly in need of food, fuel, shelter, and medical attention, as well as assist the needs of the recent Orthodox Monasteries and Churches throughout the Province of Kosovo and Metohija. This fund as well seeks to help the youth and elderly in these same regions.

The fund currently supports six soup kitchens and one bakery – which produce bread loaves, a vitally important part of diet in this region. It also funds the delivery of bread and other foodstuffs to villages and provides daily lunches to four schools as well as shoes and clothing for youth of all ages.

Your fund supports 61 scholarships to the University of Northern Kosovo and also scholarship assistance for Serbian youths at Boise State University, and at Hellenic College/Holy Cross Theological Seminary, as well as financial assistance to Serbian immigrants in Boise, Idaho

Other important issues, needs and problems addressed by our Fund include: refugee centers and camps; special needs of the elderly; electricity bills; firewood during winter months (including schools!); necessary medical (and surgical) procedures; Orthodox celebrations of Christmas and Easter-Pascha; shortages of hay and farm equipment.

The Fund has also purchased pigs for 200 families annually!

The needs in Kosovo-Metohija continue to increase as events in the region continue to leaving many homeless and indigent.
