2010 GOP Freshmen in good shape

here’s some good news for a change. Despite the Progressive Leftist nature of the Republican party, the 2010 class are solid Economic/Fiscal Conservatives. They have prevented Rockefeller Republicans and political Eunuch John Boehner from caving more to the Pharaoh than he would like. The Cook Political Report did a survey and found that the class of 2010 is in good shape and the majority will get re-elected.

WASHINGTON – The overwhelming majority of the 87 Republican lawmakers who swept into Congress in 2010 and took control of the U.S. House are likely to be re-elected this year, according to strategists and an analysis of redistricting changes.

That wave — fueled in large part by Tea Party momentum and campaign pledges of fiscal conservatism — is unlikely to recede in 2012 far enough to give Democrats the opportunity to regain control of the chamber.

“A lot of the freshmen are in good shape,” said David Wasserman, an election analyst for the non-partisan Cook Political Report.

This is good news in an otherwise depressing election. Hopefully the class of 2010 will be joined by another batch of economic/fiscally Conservatives in 2012. This Congressional block hopefully will stand up to Mitt Romney’s Progressive agenda and prevent him from nation building in Syria. The class of 2010 is our only hope to save this nation from the financial abyss.

Art Laffer endorses Newt Gingrich

One of the architects of the 1980’s Reagan boom has made an endorsement. Art Laffer, who invented the Laffer curve (which explains how tax rates increase or decrease revenue), has come out in support of Newt Gingrich. This gives Newt a huge boost among Economic Conservatives at a time he’s under assault from the Rockefeller Progressive Wing of the GOP and the Ron Paul cult. He praises Newt’s economic and fiscal stewardship during hos Speaker-ship. The truth is that the Newt Gingrich Congress was the most economically and fiscally Conservative congress since the 1920’s. Laffer gives Newt his blessing.

Arthur Laffer, the architect of Ronald Reagan’s economic plan, announced today that he is endorsing Newt Gingrich for president.

“Newt has the best plan for jobs and economic growth of any candidate in the field,” said Laffer, the renowned economist who is the father of The Laffer Curve and supply-side economics.

“Like Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts and pro-growth policies, Newt’s low individual and corporate tax rates, deregulation. and strong dollar monetary policies will create a boom of new investment and economic growth leading to the creation of tens of millions of new jobs over the next decade,” Laffer declared. “Plus, Newt’s record of helping Ronald Reagan pass the Kemp Roth tax cuts and enacting the largest capital gains tax cut in history as speaker of the House shows he can get this plan passed and put it into action.”

What amzes me is that except for Ronald Reagan, the GOP has not nominated an Economic/Fiscal Conservative. Every GOP candidate has been been an economic and fiscal Progressive. For Economic/Fiscal Conservatives Art Laffer is practically a Saint. He help engineer one of the greatest booms in American history. The Reagan boom help laid the foundation for the great economic growth and prosperity that lasted until 2000. We really need something approaching that today.

Another notable Economist endorsing Newt Gingrich is Thomas Sowell.

There are no guarantees, no matter whom the Republicans vote for in the primaries. Why not vote for the candidate who has shown the best track record of accomplishments, both in office and in the debates? That is Newt Gingrich. With all his shortcomings, his record shows that he knows how to get the job done in Washington.

Mitt Romney, who the Establishment is pushing at costs, is a Progressive. He supports Occupy Wall Street and a Euro-Socialist VAT tax. If he is the nominee, 2012 will be the 7th Presidential election in which Economic and Fiscal Conservatives are not represented. We need to stop that, for the sake of our country.

Mitt Romney refuses to endorse John Kasich’s reforms in Ohio

Mitt Romney keeps showing his Progressive/International Socialist colors.  There will be a referendum in a few weeks in Ohio on John Kasich’s reforms for public sector unions. The reforms are modeled after the ones Scott Walker passed in Wisconsin. While visitinga  Republican phone bank, Mitt Romney showed his Leftist colors. He refused to endorse Gov. John Kasich’s plans. Despite the fact, he did in June!

Campaigning in Ohio today, Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney stopped by a Republican Party phone-bank making calls in support of Gov. John Kasich’s government union reform referendum, but refused to endorse the actual referendum. CNN’s Peter Hamby called the scene an “incredible moment in politics.”

Kasich already signed his government union reforms into law in March of this year, not long after Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker won his battle against government unions. But Democrats, with the help from the AFL-CIO, placed a referendum on next week’s ballot Issue 2, that would repeal the new law. A vote for the referendum would keep the law, a vote against would repeal.

This is a very revealing moment. Mitt Romney refuses to endorse common sense fiscal reforms in Ohio. Clearly, this man is a Progressive and no way should be the GOP nominee. Romney would continue the downward spiral in America due to Progressivism. He must be defeated.

Say no to Mitt Romney.
