Death by Political Correctness

The right wing fanatic at Renew America responds to the Fort Hood shooting and to the trend of political correctness in general, and boy is he ticked,

Even beyond these examples, however, we see that political correctness has emerged, especially in the years following 9-11, as a deadly threat to Americans. How? By the fact that it hampers us from being able to defend ourselves against the existential threat to America posed by radical Muslim terrorists. Far from waking up and getting serious about dealing with the threat of Islamofascist terrorists, America has largely followed a course of politically correct head-in-the-sand relativism towards the people who would like nothing more than to destroy America and behead any who don’t convert to their particular version of lunar idolatry. Even in the midst of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — ostensibly being fought to destroy foreign supporters of terrorism — Bush was telling us “Islam is a peaceful religion.” The FBI — the people who are supposed to be investigating and stopping acts of terrorism on American soil — have relied upon the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group with high-ranking members who are known to have supported terrorist organizations, to train its field agents in “sensitivity.” The new watchword of the PC thugs is “Islamophobia,” which can be defined as “a willingness to speak the truth about the ugly aspects of Islam.”

So we see the PC infection having deadly results at Fort Hood, in Texas, where a Muslim terrorist masquerading as a U.S. Army Major ambushed and killed 12 unarmed American soldiers, and wounded 30 others. But wait — we can’t call it terrorism. Instead of calling a spade a spade, the news media concoct all kinds of stories to explain why Major Nidal Malik Hasan would have gone on his shooting rampage. Perhaps it was post-traumatic stress disorder — except that he had never been in combat. Maybe he just empathized with the soldiers with PTSD that he was counseling and broke from the stress — except that he reportedly spent many a counseling session berating them for participating in “the war against Islam” instead of trying to help them through their psychological difficulties. Perchance Maj. Hasan is really the victim here, since at one point several years ago, some guy in his apartment complex allegedly tore a pro-jihad bumper sticker off his car and keyed it? Sure, since we all know that a shooting spree is the entirely appropriate response to a stolen bumper sticker and a keyed car. One thing that the media and the commentators and apparently the President of the United States himself are all agreed on is that we can’t “jump to conclusions” that radical Islamic beliefs had anything to do with a guy shouting “Allah Akbar” while shooting unarmed people.

Even before he became the Foreign Minister of Israel, Avigdor Lieberman has been the whipping boy for the Left.  With a insatiable fervor, the MSM and other bastions of the International Left have taken every opportunity possible to slander him nearly constantly with every negative label possible, and otherwise use him to distance Israel from the International community.

I knew then, and I still believe now why that is:

He keeps telling them what they don’t want to hear: the truth!

(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told his hosts during an official visit to Denmark on Monday that Islamic fundamentalists in Europe are abusing European Union freedoms to promote Islamic supremacy and anti-Semitism.

Radical Islamic elements are misusing the democratic tools granted to them by the European countries in order to agitate, aggravate and radicalize relations within and among these countries, at the same time increasing and encouraging anti-Semitic phenomena,” Lieberman said during a meeting with the Danish Minister of Refugee, Immigration and Integration Affairs Birthe Rønn Hornbech…

While in Denmark, Foreign Minister Lieberman took part in dedicating a new memorial in honor of the country’s Jews who were deported to the Thereisenstadt concentration camp. He laid a wreath in memory of the victims and delivered remarks on behalf of the State of Israel. Lieberman noted that the people of Denmark risked their lives to save Jews who were to be sent to their deaths at the hands of the Nazis. For the nation’s collective resistance to Nazi anti-Semitism, “Denmark will always hold a special place in the history and in the hearts of the Jewish people,” he said.

Turning from the past to the present, Lieberman continued, “We are today again facing elements who threaten to destroy the Jews, not only those living in Israel. The Iranian regime is funding terrorist activity throughout the world and particularly against Jews. The State of Israel is responsible for all Jewish communities in the world, and all Jewish communities are responsible for the State of Israel. This cooperation is essential in order to halt this threat.”

Yet the danger is not to the Jews alone, the Foreign Minister emphasized, “The struggle against the Iranian threat is the greatest challenge that the democratic world faces today.”

Avigdor Lieberman is everything that threatens the International Left’s grip on world affairs.  He is an unapologetic, proud Jew and Zionist, who is unafraid to stick his own neck out to ensure the security of his Country.  Even when it is unpopular and non-politically correct, he will unabashedly state any uncomfortable truth whether it be about the Islamist threat to Democracy in general, or the rampant disloyalty of the Israeli-Arabs/Muslims.

For this the Left has tried to destroy him.

Hassan’s Imam: “Nidal Hassan Is A Hero”

From this website, Hassan’s imam praises the Moslem coward. (Via Gateway Pundit)

Nidal Hassan is a hero. He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people. This is a contradiction that many Muslims brush aside and just pretend that it doesn’t exist. Any decent Muslim cannot live, understanding properly his duties towards his Creator and his fellow Muslims, and yet serve as a US soldier. The US is leading the war against terrorism which in reality is a war against Islam. Its army is directly invading two Muslim countries and indirectly occupying the rest through its stooges.

Only a shit-for-brains Moslem can see “heroism” when attacking unarmed infidels. If Allah is really as powerful as they claim, then why do these brave Moslems fight with people who can not fight back? It’s a rhetorical question.

If this POS Moslem (Hassan) was really “pious”, then why didnt he just move to a POS Moslem country, like Iraq, Afghanistan or any of the other POS Moslem countries?

And this “Moslems don’t kill Moslems is pure bullshit.” I have seen many a car swarms in both Iraq and Afghanistan that kill lots of Moslems. I sure hope they keep up the good work for Allah.

The ultimate slap to Islams face, the real hero is female (Kimberly Munley).

Fort Hood shooter was member of Homeland Security Panel advising Obama

Here’s something else that we’ll all bury our heads in the sand about, if we know what’s good for us.  Nidal Hasan was a member of an independent panel offering advice to President Obama on homeland security issues, (Hat Tip: Scott Madsen)

The gunman who killed 12 people today at Ft. Hood appears, based on current media reports, to be Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan who was listed as a participant in a Homeland Security Policy Institute’s presidential transition task force last year.

The task force was not officially affiliated with the White House. It was a project of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, an independent thinktank housed at George Washington University, aimed at drafting policy recommendations for the incoming Obama administration.

According to the task force’s May 2009 report [pdf], a “Nidal Hasan” from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine was a task force event participant. Other participants included Senate and House staffers, Department of Homeland Security officials, Defense Department officials, and reporters for Politico, the Washington Post, and the London Times….

I’m sure you feel safer already. I realise that this was an independent group that is not officially affiliated with the Obama adminstration, but all the same, you’d have thought that somebody would do a little checking into the background, opinions, and written works of the members of a board that will be presenting policy recommendations to the President of the United States, would you not? Like the fact that he expressed support for suicide bombers on publicly-accessible Islamist sites?

Or that he used a medical lecture to his colleagues as an opportunity to lecture on how the Qur’an calls for decapitation of non-believers.

Or how he was placed on probation one time for repeatedly trying to proselytise his patients and colleagues to Islam.

Or how he was on the record as stating that the war on terror was a war on Islam, and that radical Muslims in the Middle East had the “right” to stand up against aggressors (i.e. the US and her allies)?

He was moderate. He was sane. He wasn’t scary or radical. Until he ambushed 13 U.S. soldiers while shouting “Allah Akbar”.

But remember folks, aside from the “Allah Akbar” shouting and the support for suicide bombers and the apparent belief that the US was the enemy of his religion and his understanding that it’s perfectly OK to kill unbelievers because they are unbelievers, there’s no reason to rush to judgment on this matter.  I mean, who knows?  We might find out that He watched a lot of Glenn Beck and followed Sarah Palin tweets while surfing the Discovery Institute’s website, right?
