Statement of Geert Wilders concerning the massacre in Norway

The brutal murder of dozens of innocent Norwegian civilians several days ago has shocked the Freedom Party (Dutch PVV). We mourn and stand by the Norwegian people who suffer from a massive blow.

The manifesto of the perpetrator makes clear that this is a madman. He wants to work with Al Qaeda (which he cherishes great admiration for), craves the bombing of cities, dreams of knights that surgically mutilate themselves, and wants to meet his hero Karadzic.

Breivik also refers to the Netherlands. That the fight against Islam is violently abused by a psychopath is disgusting and a slap in the face of the global anti-Islamic movement. It fills me with disgust that the perpetrator refers to the PVV and me in his manifesto.

Neither PVV nor I are responsible for a lone idiot who twisted and violently abused the freedom-loving anti-Islamization ideals, no matter how much some people would like that. We are democrats at heart. The Freedom Party has never, ever called for violence and will never do. We believe in the power of the ballot box and the wisdom of the voter. Not bombs and guns.

We fight for a democratic and nonviolent means against the further Islamisation of society and will continue to do so. The preservation of our freedom and security is our only goal.

From: Stand Up America Now

Stand Up America Now condemns the attack that took place in Norway. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of violence. These types of acts are perpetrated by misguided individuals, and could continue out of a desperation to bring attention to the growing threat of radical Islam.

As long as our governments continue to ignore the radical element of Islam and as they continue to justify its violent actions by adapting to a policy of political correctness, there will be a great danger.

Hopefully this event will not be used as a type of smokescreen to cover up the violent activities of Islam that take place worldwide. Since the 9/11 attack in 2001 there has been over 18,000 Islamic terrorist attacks injuring and killing many people. The threat of radical Islam needs to be addressed by our governments and necessary measures must be taken to stop it.

Statement

I condemn in the strongest possible terms the terror attacks that took place in Oslo and on Utøya island on July 23, 2011. There are no excuses for this wicked atrocity, nor can it be relativized. I extend my sympathies to the Norwegian people and especially to the relatives and friends of the dead. I mourn with the survivors.

I very much regret that this psychopathic killer believed he had to make reference to my beliefs in his 1,500-page manifesto. I can hardly defend myself against such wrongful exploitation, but those who know me and hear what I say in my public appearances know very well that I reject any form of violence.

However, if well-founded criticism is blamed for those attacks, aren’t the critics of Olof Palme to blame for his murder?

Did Mahatma Gandhi’s critics kill him, or did the killer himself bear individual responsibility?

Were the critics of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy to blame for the murder of the crown prince, and consequently responsible for the outbreak of World War I?

I am a woman of words, and I have nothing to do with violence, which I categorically reject.

In addition, I reject all worldviews that justify the use of violence. In this rejection, I do not care whether the ideology commands its power with the help of guns or swords.

Norway Youth Camp had a boycott Israel rally

After reading this lunatic’s manifesto, it became clear why he attacked this youth center. It was a Leftist indoctrination camp. One of the activities at this camp was the demonization of Israel. In fact, when the shooting began, some thought it was a simulation of what they are taught, Israel does in Gaza.

“Some of my friends tried to stop him by talking to him. Many people think on the island that it was a test … comparing it to how it is to live in Gaza. So many people went to him and tried to talk to him, but they were shot immediately.” – Adrian Pracon

Why would these kids think this? Clearly there was anti-Israel/Jewish indoctrination going on. In fact, a few days before the shooting, the Norwegian Foreign Minister attended a boycott Israel event at this camp.

Forty-eight hours before Friday massacre, teens participating in ruling party youth camp met with Norwegian foreign minister. Some called for boycott of Israel

Gahr Stoere told the youths that the Palestinians deserve a country of their own and that the occupation must end, Norwegian website Politisk reported. Several of the youths waved signs reading: “Boycott Israel.”The teenagers who took part in Norway’s ruling party youth camp in the island of Utoya met with Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere and demanded he recognize Palestine on Wednesday, two days before the deadly terror attack which left many of them dead.

Read the rest: Norway youths discussed Palestine prior to attack

Now before anyone gets it twisted, I am NOT justifying this lunatic’s attack. Killing 9o kids in cold blood, is never justified. I am not explain why they thought the shooting at first was mimicking what they claim Israel does in Gaza. They were being brainwashed at this Progressive indoctrination camp. In his twisted mind, the shooter thought he was fighting evil. That is why this camp was targeted.

On another note, the people running this camp should be ashamed of themselves. They are teaching kids to hate and demonize a people who are no threat to Norway. That in itself is another form of evil.

None of this still takes away the fact that 90 young people who were just starting out in the journey of life, were killed in cold blood. May their souls find peace.

Amy Winehouse dead at 27 and comments on Norway killings

by Phantom Ace ( 185 Comments › )

I hate seeing talented people die so young. It’s a shame that a talented singer died at such a young age.

LONDON (AP) — Amy Winehouse, the beehived soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home, police said. She was 27.

Winehouse shot to fame in 2006 with the album “Back to Black,” whose blend of jazz, soul, rock and classic pop was a global hit. It won five Grammys and made Winehouse – with her black beehive hairdo and old-fashioned sailor tattoos – one of music’s most recognizable stars. But the British star’s personal life, with its drug and alcohol abuse, eating disorders and destructive relationships, soon took over her career.

Police confirmed that a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at the home in Camden Square northern London; the cause of death was not immediately known. London Ambulance Services said Winehouse had died before the two ambulance crews it sent arrived at the scene.

Rest in Peace!

Rodan Note: It turns out the killer in Norway was actually an anti-Islamic Rightwinger (See Note). As much as I hate Islam and Progressives, killing kids in cold blood is wrong and I condemn this vile act of insanity. I can understand an attack on a government building (not justifying it), but killing kids is wrong.  Progressives and Islam can be defeated, but not like this. These acts discredit what us on the Right are trying to do. I hope the killer burns in hell.

Update: Lobo makes a good point.

I’m not sure how well that’s been established, actually.

There seem to be a number of questions about his background.

I suspect that in the end, he’s going to turn out to be more like their version of Jared Loughner.

I agree with this statement.

Addendum by 1389

Statement regarding the Utøya youth camp attack:

There has been a plethora of speculation and allegations bandied about in the media and the blogosphere with regard to the identity and motives of the Utøya youth camp attacker(s). Let me point out that we don’t have all of the facts yet (or perhaps any of them).

Just for starters, there hasn’t been a trial yet. Only the trial can establish whether the person arrested (namely Breivik) was the actual shooter (assuming that there was only one shooter, which we still don’t know).

We also don’t know who actually left the comments that were purportedly made by Breivik.

Nor do we know the extent to which the police and the judicial system in Norway are honest. These cases become political footballs. There have certainly been enough problems with that in the US, especially with regard to high-profile crimes and assassinations.

We don’t know whether the Oslo bombing, the youth camp attack, or both, could have been “false flag” operations. Even if they were not, there is always the danger that they could eventually be used as a “Reichstag fire” incident.

Anybody can leave comments on just about any website, forum, or blog that allows comments. They can leave comments under somebody else’s name if they feel like it, and the website owner generally won’t know.

Let me point out something else: A blog, forum, or website is not responsible for the mental health (or lack of it) of its commenters. We don’t know who those people really are. Some commenters are undoubtedly imposters.

At various times, we’ve had some looney tunes commenting on 1389 Blog, which is, of course, a counterjihadist site. Even though a few such commenters seem to have agreed with our viewpoint (at least to the extent that we can figure out what they are talking about), we don’t like getting comments from people who seem to be incoherent or mentally unbalanced. That is partly why we moderate the comments. If we were to accept no comments from anybody at all, that would cut us off from any dialog with our audience, and that would cut down on readership.

I will make two further comments:

Whoever left the comments under the name of Breivik was not connected with the counterjihad movement to any real extent, simply because he (or they) would know by now never to use Little Green Footballs as a source of information.

Whoever shot up the youth camp wasn’t a Christian, despite what he (or others) might claim. That isn’t something that a Christian would do. Nothing in Christian doctrine allows it.
