Do You Want America’s Future Decided by the MSM or by The People?

Zilla explains why a healthy and independent blogosphere is so vital to our liberty, and what YOU can do to empower it!

We must fight for accurate information and ignore a media with an activist, propagandist agenda.  It has gotten down to that: the media vs. the people.

The above quote is from Pamela Geller’s article at Human Events, The Next President. It is now more important than ever to support those who fight to bring truthful information to the People, information that the media and most of our political class do not want you to know.

Consider Iowa leading up to the Ames Debate. Here is an excerpt from DaTechguy about the fact  Robert Stacy McCain has provided far better coverage of all the GOP Presidential candidates in Iowa than anyone else:

But it is his post on his site that clinches my argument

So far in Iowa, I’ve been to events for Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum. If they get a couple of local TV stations and two or three newspaper reporters to an event, that’s “good coverage.” But at today’s Romney event — held at the home of a local businessman — it was a totally different level of coverage: The Philadelphia Inquirer, the San Francisco Chronicle, Gwen Ifill, Charlie Cook, Al Hunt, Carl Cameron of Fox News, etc. I counted no fewer than 12 TV or video cameras recording Romney’s speech.

That is the power of the MSM. It decides who the GOP front-runner is (and who they want it to be) and allocates coverage accordingly. Stacy McCain has covered Mitt Romney, but he has not limited his coverage to him. He has covered Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann and Tim Pawlenty.

This more than anything else highlights the importance of bloggers and social media, they are the best way to bypass the elites determination to convert convention wisdom into fact.  RTWT

If you watched the Ames debate on Fox News, you may have noticed that the moderators tried to make it pretty much the Romney/Gingrich/Pawlenty/Paul show, giving little time to (my first choice) Rick Santorum, or Herman Cain (and they mods were basically asses to Michelle Bachmann). They also gave a lot of attention to former Obama operative Jon Huntsman. Their coverage of the debate on the morning show Fox and Friends was even worse. Neither the hosts nor their guests even mentioned Rick Santorum from what I saw, despite the fact that he did really well in the debate. Fox, like the rest of the MSM has an agenda, and that agenda is not to report events, but to engineer their outcomes. DaTechguy further illustrates this point at the Conservatory with his great piece about Why Robert Stacy McCain Is Invaluable

To Herman Cain: Retract Your Apology to the Muslims!

Dear Ms. Carmichael:

Your press release, Cain Meets with American Muslim Leaders, was quoted here by journalist R.S. McCain:

UPDATE: The readership does not seem to approve — to put it rather mildly. In the comments below, Bob Belvedere cites references indicating that Imam Magid and ISNA are connected to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.

As readers might deduce, I was rather stunned by this press release…

It was a serious mistake for Herman Cain even to meet with Imam Magid or with anyone else affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and its myriad of front groups. It was an even bigger mistake for Mr. Cain to issue any apology for having offended Muslims in any way.

I must point out that most Americans have very little familiarity with Islamic doctrine as it exists in the Qur’an, the Hadiths, and shari’a law. Islam is not a religion in the normal sense of the word as Americans understand it. Instead, by its own definition, Islam is an expansionist, enemy, totalitarian political ideology that controls all aspects of life and seeks to eliminate everything but itself. It is incompatible with the US Constitution, with the oath of citizenship, with the oath of political office in the US, and with civilized society in general.

Just for fun. If you missed it on Diary of Daedalus, here’s how it went down:

1. Charles Johnson posts his usual tripe [cache link].

2. Robert Stacy McCain takes a screencap of CJ’s inanity and posts it on his own blog.

3. Charles notices that he’s got McCain’s attention once more, so Charles posts complaints about his victimhood and includes a screencap of McCain’s post [cache link].

4. The Boiler Room Crew takes notice and just can’t pass up the opportunity to post a screencap of a screencap of a screencap of a screencap.

5. ISTE forwards THIS screencap of a screencap of a screencap of a screencap of a screencap.

6. The quintuple screencap is posted on The Overnight Open Thread. (more…)

RS McCain smacks down Sharpton and the Jazz Man

Robert Stacy McCain never bites his tongue for no one. He has a piece at his blog, where he gives Black National Socialist, Al Sharpton a good beat down.

Joyce White arrived at a what she called a counter-march to Fox News host Glenn Beck’s rally. She came to remember the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech but also to show her opposition to Beck.
“If we hadn’t elected a black president, do you think they would be doing this today?”
she asked. . . .
The bleachers
[at the Dunbar High football field] still weren’t filled 10 minutes before the “Reclaim the Dream” rally organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton was scheduled to start. . . .
Bianca Farmer, a senior at Dunbar High School, received big applause when she told the crowd not to stop at celebrating Obama. “We must be fearful of stopping there,” she said. “The fight is not in the same arena as it was 47 years ago but the fight lives on.” . . .
Representatives are here from various District political campaigns, labor unions and churches . . .
The Rev. Al Sharpton
said in an interview before he spoke to thousands at his rally in Northwest Washington that “people are clear in what Dr. King’s dream was about and we will not react to those who try to distort that dream.”

RS McCain then gives the Tranzi Totalitarian Progressive IslamiC-Imperialist Collaborator a good smackdown.

The husky ponytailed blogger can’t stand it:

Explaining the specific causes of Charles Johnson’s failure as a writer — his inability to compose persuasive rhetoric, etc. — would be a simple task, but why bother with analysis? Just enjoy the laughs.

The Corpulent Racist and the Corpulent Jazz Man both deserve ridicule and R.S McCain provides just that!
