If one parade isn’t good enough for ya, try this. They have pennants.

Too much rhythm and not enough music? Here we go.

That song’s going to be stuck in my head for days. And on this, that and the other note, let’s crack open The Overnight Open Thread.

Deep Down, Zombies Are Chuckleheads.

A blogger friend, Will, emailed me this image to do something with, and I responded that I’d figure out something to do with it. I responded:

“So you got the camera man to pull your finger, eh? Musta been a barnburner of a rip ’cause the zombette was about to shoot blood out her nose. THAT would have gone viral.”

Not to disparage Will (the zombie at far right), had he photoshopped a cloud of zombie fartdust behind him, I would’ve blown snot all over the monitor. He missed a bet IMO.

To be honest, I really don’t get the zombie role-playing stuff, but that’s probably because I’m more interested in the antics of the BlogMockers on a Saturday Night Overnight Open Thread.

Recently, Snork emailed me a .jpg image of the infamous Unicorn Meat (as shown below left). Here is part of the advertisement from Think Geek:

The Unicorn Meat advert went semi-viral after it was posted on April Fools’ Day this year. But there’s an update to the innocent prank.

I’d never heard of the National Pork Board, but apparently they sniffed out a clear case of trademark infringement. On 5 May 2010, the international law firm of Faegre & Benson faxed the owners of the Think Geek website a 12-page letter, excerpted below.

“This law firm represents National Pork Board in connection with its intellectual property rights.

We are writing to you in connection with your activities at the website www.thinkgeek.com, wherein you have been marketing a product called “Radiant Farms Canned Unicorn Meat” using the slogan “Unicorn- the new white meat.”

See, NPB owns the trademark “The Other White Meat” in the U.S., Canada, and the European Union.  Unfortunately their lawyers didn’t realize that Trademark Infringement does not extend to parodies, and that unicorns don’t really exist. [Full story here, via here.]

Speaking of the sparkly-assed rainbow-pooping bastards, lets have an Overnight Open Thread. With some Pâté.

Yesterday, hackers changed the message on one of the ubiquitous portable illuminated traffic signs in Florida. From NBC Miami, we get this report:

A highway sign flashing “NO LATINOS NO TACOS” greeted drivers on the Palmetto Expressway in Northwest Miami-Dade, after hackers managed to alter it early Tuesday morning.

The sign was in the northbound side of the 826, right near the Northwest 25th street exit.

It’s unknown how long the sign had been flashing the message, but by 6 a.m., members of the Florida Highway Patrol and a road crew had turned the sign away from the highway and were working to erase the message.

Almost immediately the MSM and left-wing blogs (like this one) tagged the prank as right-wing racism. Seems that everyone has forgotten about this unadulterated image:

According to the race-baiters, illegal immigrants and legal hispanics are way too stooopid to figure out the complexity of a programmable road sign, so it’s gotta be the evil Mr. Whitey McConservative. Good thing that the lovely and gracious Missus X is a Latina, because I’d never be able figure out how to make tacos or burritos on my own.

Meanwhile, this was spotted near Copperhill, Tennessee:

Much of today’s racism is promoted by the left, just like it always has been. And because of it, we have another post for an Overnight Open Thread.
